Conveniently shut off lights in my basement or attic at the source ... and an extra outlet is great!

It adds an outlet wherever you have a light bulb .. And it allows you to turn off the light source at the source

Slightly cheaper in quality than I had expected.

The socket is not totally metal. There is only a strip on one side, like the cheaper flashlights these days. But it works. Will get a remote control socket next time I need to replace this one. Does the job. Used them to add a bunch of outlets in the basement. Pull chain requires a tad too much force for my taste, making it a bit clunky

Wanted it for the outlet

Basically I wanted an outlet in the attic to run a wyze cam to check noises. I haven't used the pull chain as I put a feit smart bulb in the socket and left it permanently on. I shut the light on and off by voice, Alexa shut off the attic light. So for adding an outlet it was faster than cutting the power and rewiring with an outlet and light socket combo base Works perfectly for my purposes. Very good deal for me.

It works. Does what it is supposed to do. Cost more for a longer pull chain than for the socket.
